Pair of larger than life figures entitled Ecriture & Lecture by Mathurin Moreau (Dijon,18/Nov/1822 - Paris,14/Feb/1912). Val d�Osne foundry marks. Mathurin Moreau started working at the Val d�Osne foundry in about 1850 and in later years he became one of the foundry�s administrators.
